About Me

Hello there!
Thank you so much for visiting my blog. You are a wonderful human-being. Or doll... Or cyborg, or dog, or fairy, or whatever you are. It doesn't really matter. Thank you!
My name is Tenley, and I collect American Girl Dolls and antique dolls. I'm 12 years old, and yes, I'm a bit old to be "playing" with dolls. However, I adore it. I enjoy doll photography, collecting, and I strive to entertain those who share my hobby. I have 12 beautiful dolls, and I am incredibly grateful for them.
I am a Christian, and my favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11. If you ever have a struggle in your life, feel free to tell me, and I'll pray for you. God has great plans for all of us, and that is why I love Jeremiah 29:1, "For I know the plans I have for you; says the lord. Plans to prosper you, not to harm you, plans to give you a future, and a hope."
I show-jump horses. I have a lovely quarter horse, Ruby Tuesday, whom I adore. I relish the feeling of soaring upon a powerful beast. It's a privilege of life that I could not live without. I ride English-style, hence the jumping. It's so much fun! I knew since I was a toddler that I wanted a horse, and when I was 10, my dream came true. I'm a proud equestrian, and I always will be!
In March 2016, my best friend passed away after a long battle with cancer. I left my blog for several months out of grief, but now I'm back. I want to spread awareness of childhood cancer, so here's some facts. Only 4% of funding towards cancer research is dedicated to children. Loads of people believe that adult cures will work for children too, but that is not the case. Childhood cancers require their own cures, and we need them. One girl with cancer that I thoroughly support is Bella Muntean, or @thenookdolls on Instagram. She's a brave warrior. I encourage you to support her by sending her happy mail. You can do so by messaging her on IG. Please do. Help this important cause.
I am a writer. I wish to be an author someday. I love English class, writing poems, stories, and essays. I love words, and the ability to inspire and teach with them. Words are truly magical. You can find some snippets of my writing at wildamongtheflowers.blogspot.com. Writing is my passion, and reading is one way I develop it. I love pouring over novels, searching for new words, new methods, and ideas for my own stories.
Thanks again for visiting my blog! Follow me for photoshoots, photostories, and all things dolls. Feel free to request posts! Head over to "Meet The Dolls" if you'd like to see the stars of my blog. (my make-shift models ;) )Thank you so much for visiting, God bless you!

    1. Yay! A fellow horse rider or uh... equestrian enthusiast! Hahaha. Yes! Reading is fun, what is your favorite book? Opinions on me starting a weekly reading post? No I do not live in the country, but I have always wanted to. My family is building a house in the country and I can't wait to move there!

  6. Oh my gosh, we're practically like the (mostly)exact same things. The only things different are that I <3 math, I don't have mine craft (yet!), I WANT to ride horses, and I get up at 7:00 a.m every morning :) The worst part is, my brother gets to ride horses and I just get to watch him have all the fun! :( Also, I''m working on a novel right now, so if it ever gets published, you should try looking for it.

  7. That's cool that you like the Warriors series. I haven't read them, but my sisters (and brother) have, and I've read the Seekers books. Also, would you mind putting a "follow by email" button on the sidebar? I don't have a google account. Thanks!

    1. Great! I love it so much! This page really needs to be updated... I got my own horse and am preparing for hunter jumper shows. Why did you stop riding?

      Delete
    2. oh, congratulations on owning a horse! i rode school horses around the barn--also helped train a young to-be racehorse named Blaze...he was always my favorite. :3 always dreamed of owning my own, though. what breed is yours? good luck with the shows! i stopped riding mainly because of time--i had just gone into middle school then and had heaps of homework, along with joining band, which took a lot of time, and i wanted to spend time with friends, of course. plus i realized that what i truly loved to do was photography and music-related things, so i dedicated all my tim to those things. i do miss riding terribly, though...:)

    3. She's a quarter horse. :) Thank you! I'm excited! That's really sad that you quit, guess it just wasn't for you...

    4. aww, quarter horses are great. :) one of the sweetest horses i rode was a quarter horse mare. yeah, i was never really into the shows, i just liked spending time with the horses and going out on trails...then again, i've never really been a competitive person. *shrugs* i miss spending time around the barn more than i do actually riding, tbh. :/

    5. Yeah, I'm not really competitive either, but I thought is give it a try. Being around horses IS really relaxing! I get along better with them then I do whith people.

    6. yeah, i always felt my best when around the horses. ^_^ what's your horse's name?

      Delete
    7. My horse's name is Ruby Tuesday, her old owner called her Ruby and so pretty much everyone at the barn calls her Ruby, but I call her Tuesday. There's a picture of her on the "Meet Tenley" page at- wildamongtheflowers.blogspot.com
