Lea's Collection - My Opinion

Yo.
Hi!
I know this is kind of late but today I wanted to share my opinion on the new GOTY, Lea's collection!
Note I will not be sharing every item, just some key ones.

First up is Lea herself. Erm... I'm not crazy about her. She looks like Rebecca after summer vacation. Rebecca with highlighted  hair and a tan. I am not impressed by this doll. I do like her meet outfit, though. The dress is very cute and tropical, and the messenger bag is adorable.

This is her hiking outfit. I do like this! I think the shirt is very versatile and the boots are just too cute! And I can never have too many headbands.

Next is Lea's sloth. Umm... It looks more like a gremlin to me. It's still adorable though! It looks super soft. But once again, it doesn't really look like a sloth.

Here is Lea's Bahia Outfit. I actually really like this! The dip-dyed shirt is really pretty and the shoes look pretty cute. The shorts would be great for mix-matching.

These are Lea's pj's! Most people I've heard don't like these, but I think they are really cute! I think the romper could even be worn with a little cardigan outside the house! It would make a nice casual look.
But the slippers... uh.... no.

And here's Lea's "big item". Thing is, it's not that big. At least with Grace's bakery you were getting a lot of stuff. This is just a small rainforest themed desk area. Definitely never buying this.

There's my review on Lea's collection. Do you agree or disagree with me?

Never Grow Up ~ Mini Lyric Photoshoot

This is a mini lyric photoshoot to "Never Grow Up" by Taylor Swift. If you haven't heard this song, listen to it now. I love it so much. You can listen to it HERE

Your little hand's, wrapped around my finger and it's so quiet in the world tonight...
Your little eyelids flutter 'cause your dreaming so I tuck you in, turn on your favorite nightlight.

To you,
Everything is funny.
You've got nothin' to regret...
I'd give all I have honey, if you could stay like that.

Oh darling don't you ever grow up, don't ever grow up,
Just stay this little...
Oh darling don't you ever grow up, don't ever grow up,
It could stay this simple.

This song is really sad, to me, because I can relate to it so much. Growing up is hard, and with me starting middle school and all, this song easily makes me cry. I hope you liked this mini-photoshoot, please comment and let me know what you think.

Kennedy In Pink

Hey guys.
I'm sick. It stinks. I have a sore throat, cough, and fever. It's not fun. I had to stay home from school, which is awful because now I'll have to catch up on all the work I missed. Ugh. Anyway, I took these pictures of Kennedy earlier this week and figured I should probably post them, even though they're not very good.

Why does this one look all smooshed?

What do you think of this photoshoot? It was done indoors, in front of my kitchen counter. Considering the lousy location, I suppose this photoshoot isn't too bad. Thanks for reading till the end, bye.

Kennedy's Transformation

Hey guys!
So yesterday I got a huge surprise from my good friend Emma...A doll! Emma didn't use her old doll anymore, so, she gave her to me! I was in shock when I opened the gift bag. Here she is!

Ok, so no. Her hair is not perfect. But that's ok! We're going to fix it!
As you can see, her hair is quite frizzy, tangled, and overall pretty messy. Not to worry! That's all about to change!

First I brushed Kennedy's hair out really well.
Then, I wet it, alot.
I brushed through it again.
I rubbed some leave-in conditioner in it.
Brushed it again.
And ta-da! Her hair was pretty and smooth.
As finishing touches I cleaned all her little marks and dirt off her arms and legs, and put her in a pretty dress.

The result is a totally different doll!

Top is before, bottom is after. Doesn't Kennedy look so much better?!
I'm really proud of the result of giving this doll a makeover. And the entire process only took me about an hour!!!

I'm really happy to have Kennedy, she's adorable. :) Thank you Emma!! It might be a while before Kennedy appears on the Meet The Dolls page, since I usually think about my doll's personalities long before I actually get them, and this girl was a TOTAL surprise!!!
I think she is a #32 doll, but I'm not entirely sure. Do you recognize what type of doll she is?

Blog Of The Month

Hey guys!
I've decided to do something new. It will be called, "Blog of The Month". I'm going to pick a blog  that I think is really cool, or I've been reading a lot, or has great photos, etc, and they'll win the award. You don't have to be following me or anything to win the title, but I'm just letting you know, I read LOTS of blogs. The winner of Blog Of The Month will be announced on the last day of the month.
There's really no prize, except for a post on why I think you deserve the award, and maybe a little something to put in your sidebar. (If you want to.)
Things I will be looking for:
Does your photography stand out?
Are your posts creative?
Is your blog organized?
Is your blog fun?
Do you like the idea of this award?

Maryellen's First Impressions

Hey!
Before the post: I just wanted to share my new plan for my blogging schedule. I've started to get back into dolls again, and I've been doing lots with them. So, I'll be posting a lot more! But, I'm still in school so it won't quite be my multiple posts a day thing. However, you can still expect 4 or 5 posts a week! Are you happy? I know I'm really excited!
This is just going to be a quick post with not-so-great photos, but I think it's kind of cute anyway. ;) Here we'll see how Maryellen has been getting along with each of her sisters.

Ellie has been helping Kit with her new chicken. They've been trying to come up with a name for the hen. Any suggestions?
Saige has introduced the new girl to the horses. Here Maryellen is with Dusty, Saige's old mare.
Obviously, this is edited. Obviously, I didn't do a very good job. It looks completely fake. But still, I think it's kind of cute.

Gwen has shown Maryellen her telescope. They've become pretty good friends from doing this every night, despite the fact that they're 5 years apart. (Gwen is 14, Ellie is 9.) Gwen is a great big sister to Maryellen.
Since Ruthie and Maryellen share a love to pretend, they've been playing plenty of fun pretend games, causing quite a commotion jumping on beds and building blanket forts to be their secret lairs.
Isabelle loves Ellie's hair. Maryellen has been patient enough to sit through her older sister doing tons of styles on it.

Ellie shares a room with Molly and Emily. As you can see in this picture, They have lots of fun together. They're great roommates.

I just ordered Maryellen's pajamas, hairstyling kit, and crinoline. I'm very excited for them to arrive! I will probably be doing a review on at least one of them. Did you like seeing Ellie's first impressions on her new family?

P.S: I'm typing this up on Monday, (Jan. 4th) but I will be posting it some other time this week when I don't have time to make a post.

Golden Curls - A Photoshoot

Hey!
So today I took Maryellen out for her first photoshoot. I thought of the title of the post when I saw how Ellie's hair looks in the sunlight. It's so pretty!!! Her strawberry blonde curls shine like gold in the light! I really love this doll guys. If you have the chance to get her, DO IT!

Oh gosh Ellie, how cute can you be?

I like this angle.

This picture is probably my favorite.

This one is going to be Ellie's picture on Meet The Dollies!

Or maybe this one could be her profile pic...

Ooh this one's pretty!

Another potential photo for Meet The Dollies

Pretty!!!

Poodleskirt. ;)

Her eyes are beautiful.

So, what do you think? Did you like this photoshoot? I'm fairly proud of these pictures. Maryellen is SO photogenic!!
