Flower Headband Craft

Hi girls! Today I bring you a super-quick and easy craft! It's also really really cute. Can you guess what we're making? Flower headbands! I love these sooooo much! People say I look like a hippie when I wear these, but they're in style and adorable no matter what. So... Let's get started!

First, The materials you will need are:

  • Small flower beads or paper flowers
  • Leather cord or plain string
  • A hot glue gun
  • Scissors
  • About 10 minutes of time
Ok, now, get your leather cord/string and wrap it around your doll's head like this:

(Yes, I know, poor Emily's hair is a disaster.)

Then, tie the cord in a loose knot and cut it carefully, leaving a little extra string.

Next, get your flower beads or whatever decoration you'll be using.

(I used these)

Now just hot glue your decoration on to the headband! (But make sure you take it off your doll first!) When you're done just put the headband back on your doll. (Once again with a loose knot) And Ta Da!! You have an adorable, stylish, flower/hippie headband for your doll!

:) Emily's so stylish, isn't she? Lol. Her dress does not match the headband at all. Sorry 'bout that. Anyway, I hope you try this craft out yourself! It's super easy, I promise! If you do do this, feel free to post it on your blog and leave me a link to the post in the comments below. I'd appreciate if you gave me some credit for the idea though. For this post's question, (Because if you haven't noticed, I ask my readers LOTS of questions!) Please comment what your style is like! Are you trendy, classic, casual? I'd love to know! Until next time,

Q&A And "Who Wears It Best?" Results

Hi guys! Sorry this is late! I've been really busy. Homework, riding lessons, school... But anyway, Here's the results of Who Wears It Best! The winner was... drrrruuuummmroooollll pleeeease.....

GRACE JULIETT THOMAS!!!! She won by 1 vote! Sorry Izzy, I would've voted for you to be honest. Now, here's the Q&A! (My Answers are in pink, the questions are in blue)

The following questions are from Christian Homeschooler.

Who is your favorite historical doll?
Kit. I love her collection and her movie is really cute. She's just so darling!

Who is your favorite GOTY doll?
KANANI!!!!! I regret not buying her soooooo much. If I had 1 wish, I'd wish for Kanani! Or maybe world peace would be better... ;P

Do you watch AG videos on YouTube? What are your favorite channels?
Yes! All the time! I have tons of favorites, but here are a few: WackyWaffles, AGSmiless, Basilmentos, Agoverseasfan, MixiePixie7, and AGPals.

The rest of the questions are from Morgan P.
What other kinds of dolls do you like?
Well... AG definitely outshines all other doll brands in my opinion, but I do admire Maru and friends, Adora (I have an Adora doll), and Hearts for Hearts dolls.

How did you find out about AG?
Well, I was 6 years old and we were visiting my stepbrother in Dallas. My mom had heard of AG and decided to take me to a store for a little lunch at the cafe`. When we got there I was instantly in love. My mom wanted me to get Kit, but I loved Molly. I remember how excited I was when I got to get her hair done at the salon, and pick out some accessories for her. (I picked her pajamas, christmas dress, and lunch set.)

Is there a retired doll you wish you got?
Kanani!!!!!! (See second question)

So that's it! I hope to post a photostory soon... working on it! My neighbor, Meg is moving to Tokyo tomorrow and I'm really upset about that. D: But I'm sure she'll love it there so... Until next time,

Late St.Patrick's Day Party

Hi guys! Since my first St.Patrick's day post wasn't very long, I decided to do another one. My dolls got to have a "Lucky" party! I moved the furniture out of the (Doll Sized) kitchen and set this up. I hope you like it! It didn't turn out as well as planned but... I hope you like it anyway. :)

Only Kit is wearing green, but Emily and Saige are redheads so I figured that would make up for it.;) I've always wished I had red hair... Do any of you guys have red hair? That'd be so cool! The next pic shows what was on the table. I tried to theme it around green and blue. Did you know that St.Patrick's original color theme was blue?

It's kind of messy. Let's just say this is mid-party. :D That didn't make any sense. Oh well. :)

So, ARE any of you redheads? Do any of you have irish heritage? I'd love to find out! Comment either one in the comments below. OR, comment what your dolls did to celebrate St.Patrick's Day! Do any of you get St.Patrick's day off from school? I sure wish I did! That's a lot of questions. Sorry! BYE! Until next time,

What is going on?! (A contest)

Hi! So I am posting this ahead of time  because I know tomorrow I will be busy. (I have riding lessons and will most likely get homework) But anyway, I am doing a caption that picture! I am just calling mine "What Is Going On?!". I got this idea from several other lovely doll blogs, including Happy House Of AG, AG Fan, and Amazingly Adollable. Basically, if you've never heard of this, I post a picture and you tell me what you think is going on, and what the dolls are saying! I will post the results on March 31st. (2 weeks from now). I will post results for my Q&A and Who wears it best this Saturday. So hurry to get your votes, questions, and captions in! Here's the picture!

It's a little blurry... Like I said before, my dollhouse has been moved to the garage and the lighting is a little funny in there. I'm really sorry. Anyway, have fun captioning this! :P It's a pretty crazy scene. Until next time,

Happy St.Patrick's Day

Hi! Happy St.Patricks day! I typed this post out on my phone way earlier, but I just realized it didn't post. :( But it's here now! So basically, I had a great photostory planned but then it started raining, and I had to be outside to do it. So, I just dressed Kit up in green and took an awful photo of her. Sorry. I hope you still like her outfit and are having a wonderful St. Patrick's Day. Did you know that St.Patrick's Day's original color theme was blue? I wonder where green came from... Not the color green of course, I mean the idea to use it for St. Pattie's day. :P There's something for you to think about. Anyway, here's Kit!

She's holding a Valentine's day flower heart backwards. ;) Her shirt and vest were purchased at my local Market Days in town, she is wearing her meet shoes, and I made her skirt. Me and Kit hope you had a woooooonderrrrrfuuuuuul St.Patrick's Day! Until next time,
