Astrid's Fall Favorites

HellloOoOo!
Today, Astrid has a post for you, so I'll let her take it from here.

Hey there! This is Astrid. Lots of you have been requesting me, so uh... here I am! You know what else is here? Autumn! I'm super pumped for the fall season, so I'm here to talk about what's so so great about fall!

First off, just that it's fall! A wonderful season of cool breezes, colorful leaves, and all the following wonderful things!

Sweaters! Sweaters are certainly a fall necessity. They're cozy and cute! I love having a big assortment of sweaters ready, if you can't tell. And I want more! I've been eyeing this sweater from AG ever since it was released. The whole outfit is a bit odd, but the individual pieces are darling!

Next up... BOOTS! Boots are great, and you must have them for fall. Ankle boots, tall boots, rain boots, Hunter boots, Ugg boots, all the boots! I'm particularly fond of ankle booties for autumn. I SO wish they made these awesome boots in doll sizes! Of course, Tenley says the heal is way too tall for a 14-year-old such as myself, and she says they are much too expensive. A girl can dream, right?

Pumpkin spice break! Pumpkin spice is amazing. You MUST drink it 24/7. Unless you're on a diet, because a tall Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Frappaccino is 365 calories! That's a lot! Heh- I'm not a weight-watcher though. I shall enjoy my slim teen days for long as possible. These drinks are perfect, they scream, "FALL IS HERE!" I love the new Chile Mocha frap too. Yum! With touches of cinnamon and the classic pumpkin-pie taste, these drinks get you in the mood for sweaters, hot cocoa, and chilly winds.
*I am not trying to make people stop drinking frapaccinos at all or saying you should watch your weight. "I shall enjoy my slim teen days for as long as possible." was just a little joke from Astrid's POV and I hope no one takes it seriously or finds it offensive. All sizes are beautiful, and if you are on a diet, that's your choice and it's your body. I didn't mean to poke fun at anyone, it was just a joke towards how much sugar there is in this "coffee". *

"Astrid... what are you doing?"
"Oh, Callista! Right on time to show off the season's hairdos!"
"What now?"

Of course I had to get the girl with the longest hair of the house to show off what fall's hairdos look like... braids! Braids are all fall, and they just give a super classic look.

Double braids are sweet too!

And- Tenley here. A quick interaction you can do is tell us in your comment, whose hair is the best? Is it Callista's Rapunzel-like silky hair, or Astrid's explosion of color tucked under the blonde?

Ok, it's Astrid back. And pssst: my hair is better! ;)
Now, I have maple syrup. Why? Because it has maple leaves on the front. Maple leaves are the worldwide symbol of fall, seriously! These leaves are everywhere! Having some cute little jars like these out can give your kitchen a fall touch. That's what I did to our kitchen!

Really anything orange will do. Orange just gives you feelings of fall- and maybe even hints at Halloween approaching! Speaking of which...

Stay tuned for an upcoming post, in which I talk about all the fabulous necessities of Halloween!
Here, I'll hand the keyboard over to Tenley for the goodbye.

Thanks for reading this post! You guys requested Astrid, so you got Astrid! :) Hope you enjoyed, and don't forget to comment: Who has the best hair, Astrid, or Callista?

Till next time,

  1. Astrid I agree with you! I love fall and I love things from Starbucks and Scooters. Sorry Astrid, but I liked Callista's hair better.

  2. They have a Scooter's where you live?! Awesome! They only have a couple locations, and one is near me too! I love their drinks! He he... That's okay! Callista's hair is my favorite too. ;)
