The New Girl ~ A Photostory

Hi!!!!

Here you can meet the new girl as the other dolls meet her.

The dolls were all hanging out in the closet where they are currently living, doing who knows what. Then, a mysterious knock at the door came.

"I'll get it!" Saige yelled.

When Saige opened the door, she found a girl with long dark brown hair and beautiful hazel eyes.

"Hey..." The girl said, "I'm Gwen, your new erm... sister." 

Molly, Isabelle, and Ruthie, the girls that accompanied me to Dallas, erupted into a fit of giggles.

"Did you know about this?!" Saige exclaimed. 

"Yep." Ruthie said, "Sorry we didn't tell you, but Tenley wanted you to be surprised." "Well I'M certainly surprised!" Emily said. 

"Hi Gwen!" Molly waved. "Hey!" Gwen smiled and waved back.

Then there was a bit of an awkward silence.

Until Gwen asked, "Uh, do you happen to have any... er... clothes I could borrow? I hate this dress." 

Grace, who had just gotten out of the bath, was the first to answer Gwen, "We're a little low on clothes, but there's a box over there, you're welcome to anything in it."

"Thanks." Gwen said.

Gwen left, and returned in a hoodie and shorts, with her hair pulled back in a ponytail. "Much better." She said, and she smiled.

Yup! That's right! I got #55, and I named her Gwen. Her personality is based completely off of Gwen from Alone In Doll World. Here's some better pictures of her.

I absolutely adore Gwen! She is a gorgeous doll, and I feel like the fact that she's based off of Gwen from Alone In Doll World makes her even more special. Bye!

AG Haul Part 2: Clothes

Here's all the doll clothes I got at AG!

First up is the Seaside Fun Outfit. I LOVE the hoodie, and the new girl in particular looks super cute in it. The sandals are really nice too, but I feel like they're a little dressy to be paired with shorts and a hoodie.

This is a little hat that I got in the "souvenir" section. I think it is very nice, and pairs nicely with Grace's City Outfit. Speaking of which...

This is Grace's City Outfit. My favorite part of this outfit is the sweater, which looks awesome with jeggings. The pieces in this outfit are great for mix and matching.

Sorry for such a blurry picture. These are the Sparkle Sneakers. They are casual and cute, and I feel like they'd work with a variety of outfits.

Another blurry photo! I'm really sorry. Anyway, these are just some pink shorts I got because they were on sale for 5 dollars.

This is Samantha's Bicycling Outfit. It's definitely historical, but the shirt could certainly be used in a modern look.

Next up is Samantha's Nightgown. I think this is simply adorable!!!!!! Nothing else to say about this, it's just adorable. 

Lastly, this is Kit's Summer Dress. I wasn't sure about buying this, but I actually really like it now. The back of the dress has a really cute purple bow that I LOVE. >-<

AG Haul Part 1: furniture and accessories

Hello!
Here in a series of posts I will be showing you everything I got at AG, first is furniture and accessories.

First, here is all the stuff I got in the birthday package thingy.

                                            Here is a doll sized balloon...

                                     The party planning book,

                        A mug and plate, 

                                  This little pink hair-bow,

                   A doll cupcake,

                                         And finally, this cute t-shirt.

Now, onto the other sets and furniture I got.

I got Isabelle's ears pierced, so I got the earrings that came with that... They're the ones on the left. I also got an extra pack. (The ones on the right)

The science fair set. This is one of my favorite things I got, second only to my new doll. I really love the slides included, because when you look through the telescope you can actually see planets and constellations!

This is Kit's radio set. I haven't gotten to try out the radio yet, because we don't have the right kind of batteries, but I think that this set is pretty cute. :)

This is the nail care set. I haven't used it yet, but my friend has it and I think the nail polish stickers are fairly nice.

Lastly this is the bathtub, and I really wasn't planning on getting this, but my mom insisted my dolls should have a bathroom. I actually really like this and think it's a nice set.

That was all the accessories and furniture I got. My next post will show the doll clothes I got! Keep an eye out, because after the doll clothes haul, you'll get to meet the new girl!!!

Grace with curly hair!

My friend (who went with me to AG) actually managed to curl her Grace's hair! She just put it in curlers and left it over night.

We're doing a late birthday celebration at the AG bistro! Molly is dining with us while Izzy and Ruthie get their hair done. Super fun!
