Autumn Breeze - A Photoshoot

A quick photoshoot-














So when I took these photos Emily wasn't alone in the tree...
I had to climb up there too,
and as difficult as it is to climb up a tree while holding a doll and your phone,
It's harder to get on.
I ended up clumsily falling out of the tree into a pile and leaves and then catching Emily as she fell after me.
Not fun.

The pictures turned out okay though, kind of. 
Honestly, Emily isn't that photogenic. She's pretty, but she just does not look good in photos!!! Bleh. Anywho, Sorry for my lack of posts. Just one word: School.

    I have yet to climb a tree with my doll. I like the second photo! How is Jack? doing?

    i love the fourth to last one. :3 ugh yes, school is crazy. and i get you on the whole "she's pretty but doesn't look good in photos" thing, because that's literally half my doll collection in a sentence. more, actually.

      I know right? It's also hard to find the right outfit, Emily seems to only look good in dresses, but I really didn't want to do that. :/

      it really is. i will say that making your dolls have a unique sense of style helps a lot, and then the photos feel more real in a way. :3 for example, julie, in my collection, dresses in things that give off a boho/hippie vibe, and emerson dresses in band shirts and flannels (much like me, hehe). it takes some time to figure out who you want your dolls to be, though. but someday things will fall into place. :)

    I think her eyes and hair go beautifuly together
    Maybe you should dress her differently? Something with a lower neckline? Try a new angle? I'm sure you could make it work eventually.

    Aw! Cute pictures! That cardigan looks super sweet on Emily!:) My favorite pictures are the fourth and fifth one.:)

      The 5th one was actually an accident lol, I was trying to get out of the tree and took a picture by mistake.

    I really like the second picture.. what photographers will do to get the right angle! Right? ;) The whole photogenic problem is basically a lot of my older dolls, even though my first doll, Mia, photographs wonderfully. It can be so frustrating!
