Hi.
I just saw something very, very, VERY upsetting. AGDTime is deleting her blog and all social media accounts. She says she doesn't like dolls anymore. Is that not sad? I just want everyone out there to hear this: If you love dolls, you DO NOT need to give them up! I get teased plenty for loving dolls, and even my dad thinks I'm too old for them. You know what I do? I ignore them. DON'T be ashamed of your hobby. Everyone is different. Do any of you miss PicturePerfectAG, Pleasant Piper, or TheBestLovedDolls? I know I do. And I'm going to miss AGDTime a whole lot. So, the moral of this post is, YOU'RE NEVER TOO OLD TO DO WHAT YOU LOVE!

And the spicys and SO MANY MORE. growing out of dolls doesnt seem like something you can control, though. I hope I will always love dolls.
ReplyDeleteTrue, you can't control it, but I was really directing this to people who still like dolls, but give it up to "fit in".
DeleteRylee, of Picture Perfect AG, didn't leave because she grew out of dolls. She had some personal stuff going on so she decided to leave, and possible come back later this year. :3
ReplyDeleteThat aside, I agree that people shouldn't give up what they love because society deems it wrong. Many hobbies/loves could be considered "childish," but that doesn't make them so. People should learn to let others love what they love.

Yes, but she did say she was trying to fit in a bit more. I despise arguing though, so I won't bother. I miss Rylee a lot... Her photography was stunning. I agree completely! And thank you for commenting Adi, I haven't really seen you around here lately.
DeleteShe had changed to fit in in the blogging world; she left to break herself down and start fresh, to become who she really was without pressure of trying to be like the rest of us. Her photography was stunning, and I was very close to her. I can only hope that she comes back soon.
DeleteI apologize that I don't comment often; I've got a lot of blogs I follow and commenting on all of them is near impossible. I make sure to read everything, though. :)
xo Adi
Oh... Sorry, my mistake. Do you really think she will return?
DeleteIt's not your fault, at all. Just wanted to clear things up.
DeleteOne can only hope. :}

I am sad that Hannah is leaving AGD Time. But it actually isn't because she doesn't like dolls. I thought that was the reason to, but it's not. She said she lost the joy in posting. I am going to miss her!

Oh... Sorry for my misunderstanding.
DeleteIt's okay. The first time I read it I also misunderstood.
Delete<3Bella
I still like dolls, I just don't want to do blogging anymore.
ReplyDeleteI realize that now. I'm very sorry for misreading your post. I'll miss you Hannah!
DeleteThank you! I'll miss you too.
Delete:( Are you deleting your blog today?
DeleteSadly, yes. :(
DeleteGoodbye then. I'll miss you, and I hope you'll still check back here and at other people's blogs occasionally!
DeleteIt's sad, but I think that different people are different, and I can't change who they are. I however, still sit on my bedroom floor and do my dolls' hair. It's just who I am. : )
ReplyDeleteI support every bloggers' descision to leave or stop blogging, because if it interferes with their happiness, or causes extra stress, then it is best that it goes.
I'm glad you still like dolls and can shrug off any insulations you may get!

I understand that if it makes people unhappy than they should quit blogging, I just don't want people to stop what they love doing for the sake of being "normal". I didn't mean to offend you if I did by adding your blog up there. Once again, I only mean to discourage people from giving up dolls when they still do love them.
DeleteOh, no dear! I completely agree with you. : )

I am so upset that she is leaving, but I made a collage of all of my favorite pictures she ever took. Would you like it if I commented on your blog when I have it up so you can see it too?
ReplyDeleteI'd love that!
