You Spread Your Sunshine Award

I've decided I'm making my own award. Am I not allowed to do that? If so I don't care, because I'm making this award so that I can bestow it upon those who are truly spreading their sunshine. And that is why I am calling the award the, "You Spread Your Sunshine Award".

Step 1. Place the photo above onto your post.
Step 2. Give the link to the blog of whoever nominated you.
Step 3. Copy and paste these steps onto your post.
Step 4. Answer the following questions.
Step 5. Nominate 3 people who always brighten your day, and explain how they do so.

1. What 1 word describes you best?
2. What do you do to cheer yourself up when you're down?
3. Who is someone who has made a big difference in your life, that you should thank?

I Nominate:
Kathryn always has something nice to say, from her inspirational speeches to her cheerful "Lo's",  she's always sure to put a smile on your face.

Gwen will always make you laugh, she's optimistic and funny and will make you giggle till you pass out.

Maddie, at Dolls On My Mind
While Maddie is not cheerful and is certainly not the type of person to skip around singing about lollipops, she's kind and compassionate, and therefore she is spreading her sunshine.

You may be asking why I didn't answer the questions, that's because I don't want to take this award for myself, I made it for others who I know are truly spreading sunshine, so, I will not answer the questions quite yet, however, if one of my nominees finds me worthy of this award I shall accept. Thanks for reading, be sure to keep on spreadin' some sunshine.

  1. Blimey thanks for nominating me and for the kind words!

  2. No problem. :) Every word was true.

  3. aw, thanks for the nomination mate. :)

  4. Forgive me for stepping out of my place, but knowing Maddie personally, I know that she's actually quite a cheerful & happy person. Certainly she's often sarcastic and probably pessimistic but she's definitely not uncheerful. I don't mean to be rude in anyway, just wanted to say something. :}
    Anyways-- neat award idea. :)

    1. Sorry, but upon first meeting her you wouldn't really think so. However, I think you are right, she is a cheerful person, she just doesn't seem like it at first.

    2. Perhaps you'd think different if you learned not to judge people upon first encounters. For all you know she could live a horrible life and have every right to be as moody/uncheerful as she wants. Just because a person may seem one way doesn't give you incentive to judge them and make assumptions.

    3. Look, I've already apologized to Maddie and learned my lesson, so please stop lecturing me! I didn't think it was a crime to say that someone wouldn't skip around singing about lollipops!

    4. sorry to intervene, but adi never meant to come across as rude. she was just saying what she believes is right, which takes a lot of guts. she's a very close friend of mine, and i know for a fact that she wasn't lecturing you, at least not intentionally. and not to sound rude, but what she said is true--you shouldn't make assumptions about others without first getting to know them. it's quite rude, and gets to people.

    5. I'm sorry okay? I've learned my lesson and now, please stop! I'm getting quite annoyed!

    6. It is ok! You weren't that rude.

  5. Wonderful award! I love making awards! I've made two (so far). Can you actually make up awards? Who knows! :)

    Allie D.

  6. I did the 2nd challenge for the contest! Also, cool award!
